Tracey Frost Rensky
Tracey was born and raised in Australia. She has lived in New York City for 10 years. Tracey has a Bachelor of Business from the University of Technology in Sydney and a Master of Business Administration from Macquarie University Graduate School of Management in Sydney. For 13 years, she worked in banking, most recently as a director in commodity derivatives at Deutsche Bank. Throughout her years in banking, she always wanted to start her own business. As soon as she identified a need in the marketplace for a hip, modern club for families with young children, she jumped on the opportunity. Tracey left her banking job in 2003 to launch Citibabes. She and her husband live in Tribeca with their 2 young daughters.
Tara Gordon Lipton
Tara is a New Yorker through and through. She grew up in Manhattan, attended The Horace Mann School and graduated from The Spence School. She went to college at New York University before going on to earn a Master of Science in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College Graduate School of Education. She returned to The Spence School as a teacher in the lower school and worked in education for 5 years. Prior to that, she worked in entertainment public relations. Tara's true passion is education and early childhood development. When she met Tracey in 2003, she knew right away that Citibabes was the ideal venture for her. Tara and her husband live on the Upper East Side with their 4 year-old son and 1 year-old daughter.
