The following rules and regulations apply to all Citibabes' facilities and may be amended at the discretion of Citibabes' management. On all questions regarding the interpretation of rules and regulations, the decision of Citibabes shall be final. Citibabes reserves the right to suspend membership privileges for violation of any rule or regulation.
1. Membership. A Citibabes membership constitutes a family membership, deeming membership rights to parents, children, grandparents and any and all caregivers. The membership will allow each Member full use of the Indoor Playground, Cafe, Adult Fitness and Cardiovascular Gym, Citibabes Store, Lounge & Concierge. All other services will be charged at the time of registration or booking. All memberships are non-voting and non-proprietary. The granting of membership remains at the sole and an absolute discretion of Citibabes, which will be exercised without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
2. Authorized Caregivers. A Citibabes membership constitutes a family membership, deeming membership rights to parents, children, grandparents and any and all caregivers. The membership will allow each Member full use of the Indoor Playground, Cafe, Adult Fitness and Cardiovascular Gym, Citibabes Store, Lounge & Concierge. All other services will be charged at the time of registration or booking. All memberships are non-voting and non-proprietary. The granting of membership remains at the sole and an absolute discretion of Citibabes, which will be exercised without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
3. Personal and Medical Information. All members are required to complete the membership application, medical fact sheet and the Authorization and Consent to Emergency Medical Care form prior to their or their child's first day at Citibabes. It is the responsibility of the primary member to update their family's personal and medical information, including the addition or removal of authorized caregivers.
4. Check-In Procedures. Membership cards are required to enter Citibabes. Two caregiver cards are complimentary and are $15 per card after the initial two. There is a $15 replacement fee for lost or stolen cards. Members who have forgotten their membership card may present a valid driver's license or other government issued photo identification. However, recurring absence of a membership card requires the issuance of a new membership card and payment of the replacement fee. No exceptions will be made.
5. Stroller Policies. Due to fire safety regulations, Citibabes does not permit strollers to be stored beyond the stroller check-in area. Citibabes requires strollers to be checked into the stroller check area.
6. Parent/Legal Guardian or Authorized Caregiver Presence. At least one parent/legal guardian or authorized caregiver per family must remain on the premises at all times while the member's child is at Citibabes. Exclusions for Citicamp and Citischool may apply.
7. Classes. Early registration for classes is strongly advised, as classes fill up quickly. Registration fees are payable in full at the time of registration.
8. Refunds. For children's classes, individual policies will apply for each semester with regard to refunds and make-up classes. These will be discussed with the member at time of registration. For adult workshops and classes, 24 hour notices prior to the start of the workshop is required in order to waive fee. For private counseling, personal training sessions, and appointments at Citibabes Spa, members are required to give 24 hours advanced notice of cancellation or the session or appointment will be fully charged. No refunds will be issued for missed classes, workshops or sessions.
9. Cancellations. Citibabes reserves the right to cancel programs that are under-enrolled and members will be refunded in full. Citibabes also reserves the right to modify classes and faculty as necessary. In the case of inclement weather, Citibabes will delay opening or close when New York City Public Schools are delayed or close. Citibabes will also leave a recording regarding delayed or cancelled classes. There will be make-up classes for all cancelled classes.
10. Monthly Charges. Members may charge purchases to their account as long as a credit card is on file in the main members account. The credit card will be billed at the end of the month.
11. Guests. Citibabes is a private membership based club. Aand all guests must be referred by a member in order to be allowed use of the facility. Guests may accompany a member to classes that are not at full capacity. Appropriate class fees will be charged to the host members account or may be paid at time of enrollment. As space is limited and member attendance in classes is our priority, reservations are advised. and the sponsoring member must accompany all guests who intended to use any portion of the Citibabes facility. Members are entitled to 4 guest passes per membership year at no additional charge. Additional guest passes are available for purchase by members at a rate of $50 per day or $300 per week (7 days). All first-time guests must complete the Guest Registration and Waiver and Authorization prior to entering Citibabes. Citibabes reserves the right to refuse entrance to any guest and to ask any guest to leave the premises with due cause, which shall not be based upon race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.
12. Personal Conduct. Citibabes reserves the right to remove any member or guest from Citibabes for conduct which is judged to be detrimental to the welfare of other members or guests. This includes the right to refuse a child's participation in any class, program or service due to the child's continued behavioral problems. All members will be notified of their child's behavioral issues as they may arise.
13. Illness Policy. In consideration of our other members, pPlease keep sick children at home. Citibabes reserves the right to send a child home to get well and we will gladly offer a make-up class. If your child has allergies, please alert a Citibabes staff member and include this information in your child's medical fact sheet. Citibabes does not have a medical staff available and is not permitted to provide emergency or other medical treatment.
14. Animals and Items from Home. To help provide a safe environment, it is not permitted for any member to bring animals to the club. Children are not allowed to bring objects that may be a safety hazard, such as toys, jewelry, food or anything that may present a choking or strangulation hazard. Transitional objects such as blankets, stuffed animals or pacifiers are welcome.
15. Personal Belongings. Any personal belongings brought to Citibabes are at the members' own risk. Citibabes accepts no liability for loss or damage to such property. This includes, but is not limited to, any property left on the premises. Any property which is left on the premises and handed in to a Citibabes staff member will be retained at Reception for thirty (30) days. After this time, the property will be disposed of.
16. Cell Phones. Cell phones are permitted in the Cafe, Lounge & Concierge area. In all other areas, ringers should be turned to silent or vibrating mode. Please speak in a low voice when using your cell phone. Citibabes reserves the right to ask members or guests to move to the Cafe or Lounge & Concierge area if they are using cell phones in restricted areas.
17. Child Minding Policies. The Child Minding Service is offered throughout the day for children aged 3 months through 5 years. The fee is $8.00 per hour/per child. Reservations can be made for up to two hours per day, for a maximum of four visits per week. All reservations are on a first-come, first-served basis. Members are required to give 24 hours advanced notice of cancellation or the reservation will be forfeited. No refunds will be issued for missed reservations. The Child Minding staff is not authorized to provide food to your child, but if you would like the staff to give bottles of milk or formula to your child, please provide the staff with bottles labeled with your child's name. If you would like the Child Minding staff to change your child's diaper, please provide the staff with two diapers and a package of baby wipes in a ziploc bag labeled with your child's name. At least one parent/legal guardian or authorized caregiver per family must remain on the premises at all times while the member's child is with the Child Minding Service.
18. Classroom Policies. All children under 3 years of age must be accompanied by a parent/legal guardian or caregiver in all classes. For children 3 years and older, parents/legal guardians or authorized caregivers are not required to be present in the class but must remain on the premises. These children must be dropped off and picked up by their parent/legal guardian or authorized caregiver. Please note, unless the class is a designated sibling class, no siblings are allowed. For your child's safety, no outside food or drinks are permitted in the classrooms. All classes are for Citibabes members only.
19. Indoor Playground Policies. The Citibabes Indoor Playground is offered throughout the day for children aged 5 years and younger. Children using the Indoor Playground must be accompanied by their parent/legal guardian or authorized caregiver at all times. For your child's safety, no food, drinks or shoes are permitted in the Indoor Playground area. Space in the playground is limited to what is deemed reasonable by the management of Citibabes. Space limitation is judged against availability of cubbyholes outside the playground.
20. Citibabes Spa Policies. Members can book services at Citibabes Spa on an as-needed basis or they can set up standing weekly appointments. Walk-ins are welcome. Members are encouraged to utilize Citibabes Spa while their child is in class or with the Child Minding Service (A fee of $8.00 per hour is added for the use of child minding).
21. Citibabes Gym. Members and their guests are required to complete a simple health questionnaire prior to using the Gym. In certain cases members and/or their guests may be referred to their doctor prior to being allowed to use the facilities. Citibabes suggests for members to arrange for training on use of all equipment in the Gym from fitness staff members prior to use through the scheduling of an orientation. No food or beverages other than water bottles are allowed in the Gym. For safety reasons, children and members under age 16 are not allowed in the Gym. Only main members and their spouses are permitted to use the gym. Caregivers are not permitted to use the gym.
22. Food and Drink. For your child's safety, the only outside food or drinks permitted in Citibabes is such that is required to meet your child's taste and personal needs. No adult outside food or drinks are permitted at Citibabes. Citibabes is peanut-free environment.
23. No Smoking. Smoking is prohibited at Citibabes.
24. Alterations to Rules & Regulations. Citibabes reserves the right to make changes to these rules and regulations at any time.
25. Disclaimer of Liability. Citibabes is not liable for any harm or loss to persons or property. Any protection exercised or offered by Citibabes shall be deemed purely gratuitous on its part and shall in no way be construed to make it liable for any loss or inconvenience suffered by the member. Citibabes is not responsible in any circumstances for indirect, consequential or punitive damages.
I have read, understand, agree to abide by and be bound by all rules and regulations. I understand and agree that my child and any authorized caregiver will also be parties to these rules and regulations.
